Privacy — MenuVibe

Who we are

MenuVibe is a product brand of TRENDHYPES CO W.L.L. Products and services are sold by TRENDHYPES CO W.L.L., Bahrain CR 150552-1. In this policy, "we" means TRENDHYPES CO W.L.L. We decide how the personal data described here is used.

Who this policy covers

• Owners and staff of cafés, restaurants and other food businesses that use MenuVibe or talk to us about it.

• People who open a MenuVibe menu or visit menuvibe.co.

What we collect from food businesses

• Your name and phone number, and your Instagram account name if you message us there.

• Your business name and the details you ask us to show on your menu.

• Your menu: items, descriptions, prices, categories, your logo, and any photos you upload.

• The files you send us so we can prepare your menu, such as photos or a PDF of your current menu.

• The forms you sign with us.

• A record of changes made in your owner dashboard: what changed and when.

• When payments start: payment status and payment references. Card details are handled by the payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card number.

What we collect from diners and visitors

You do not need an account to open a menu, and we do not ask for your name or phone number. When you open a menu or our website, our hosting providers process technical data needed to deliver the page and keep it secure, such as your IP address, your device and browser type, and the time of your visit.

How we use it

• To prepare your menu, publish it after you approve it, and keep it online.

• To let you sign in and change your menu.

• To contact you about your service.

• To send payment requests and keep billing records.

• To keep MenuVibe secure and prevent misuse.

• To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising. We show a business's name or logo on our own website or social media only with that business's written permission.

Why we are allowed to use it

We use your data to provide the service you asked for, to meet our legal obligations, and for our legitimate need to keep the service secure. Where the law requires your consent, we ask for it, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share it with

We use service providers that work on our instructions:

• website hosting and security;

• database and file storage;

• software, including AI software, that helps us read and organise the text in the menu files you send us. A person checks every item and price, and you approve your menu before it goes live;

• a licensed payment provider, when payments start — Tap Payments; Tap's privacy policy applies to the payment page: https://www.tap.company/en/privacy;

• Instagram (Meta), if you message us there. Meta's own privacy policy applies to messages on Instagram.

We may also share data when the law requires it.

Where your data is stored

Some of our service providers store or process data outside the Kingdom of Bahrain, including in India and the United States. We use them because they are needed to provide the service you asked for, and we choose providers that protect data.

How long we keep it

• Your menu, your account details and the files you sent us: while your service is active, and for up to 12 months after it ends, so you can come back or ask for a copy. Then we delete them.

• Signed forms, invoices and payment records: for as long as Bahrain law requires.

• Technical data from visits: for a short period, for security.

How we protect it

Our pages are served over encrypted connections. Only people who need your data to run MenuVibe can see it, and the owner dashboard is protected by sign-in. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities where the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy;

• correct it;

• delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it;

• stop using it for a particular purpose;

• give you a copy of your menu.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm who you are. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Changes

We will post any change on this page with a new date. If a change matters to customers with an active service, we will also tell them directly.
